CARE & SUPPORT

CONGREGATIONAL CARE
In referring to the church in 1 Corinthians 12:26, the apostle Paul writes, "If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it."

Being part of a caring community matters.

At different times in our spiritual, emotional, and physical lives, we can't and shouldn't stand alone. Scripture reminds us of that. Sometimes we need to find our bearings and our strength by leaning into the love of others. And sometimes we come to find the greatest meaning and purpose of life in serving others.

There are many opportunities for
Service at SPC

Please pray for those in our weekly prayer list. Please help us provide meals for those in need. Please volunteer to help with our youngest disciples in our Joyful Noise room or in teaching Sunday School. Please join our Sunshine Committee and send encouraging cards to others. Please let others know that they can come to a weekly Al-Anon meeting at the church or get counseling help through Tidewater Pastoral Counseling Services on our second floor.

If you or someone you know is in need of care, please contact us. We would be honored to help.
