February 24 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
At 6:30 each Wednesday during Lent, we are gathering—not through our website or through Facebook—but through Zoom. So the tone of these gatherings is a casual one. Each week will have a specific theme that builds on Sunday’s worship. Generally Craig, other staff members, and elders will share something—maybe a video clip, a story, music, or something else—and then our time together involves reflection and discussion. There is no need to talk. However, we would love to see you.
On this evening, we will be discussing the topic: “LIVING IN THE AGE OF OUTRAGE: CHRISTIANS AT OUR BEST”. How to keep calm, how to keep focused, how to keep Christian, even when outrage is present and when people seem so angry? As we reflect together about the temptation toward anger, we start this evening with a quick video clip from the very thoughtful Ed Stetzer, who wrote the book Christians in an Age of Outrage: How to Bring Our Best When the World is at its Worst. We need your insights. Join us for a deeper conversation.
