Nursery and Childcare Information
The goal of the Second Presbyterian Nursery is to provide a safe, comfortable, and Christ-centered environment for infants and toddlers from birth to age five. For this reason, all of our nursery staff have been background checked. Nursery staff must have experience and/or training in working with infants and children. They are also CPR and first-aid certified.
Staff is in the nursery ready to greet children and parents by 9:30 AM (September through May). During the summer months, nursery staff is in place by 10:30 AM. Nursery services are also available for special events.
Most weeks a Bible lesson will be presented to older toddlers including crafts, games, stories, and music. The children join the congregation during worship for the Children’s Time of Discovery, except in circumstances of separation anxiety, in which case the child will stay in the nursery with one of the nursery attendants.
Please feel free to contact us to address any and all comments, questions, and/or concerns you may have regarding our nursery. We welcome your input and are happy to have the chance to address any concerns or answer any questions you may have!
